My Work

Osama Soliman, MBBCh, PhD, FACC, FESC is a consultant Cardiologist at University Hospital Galway and Professor of Cardiology, College of Medicine, Nursing and Heath Sciences, Natonal University of Ireland, Galway. He is the co-Founder and Medical Director of the CORRIB Research Centre for Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging and Core Lab at NUI Galway. Prof Soliman’s research focus is the applications of precision medicine and telehealth entailing a holistic approach to risk stratification and therapeutic guidance. He has 2+ decades of Cardiovascular imaging, clinical trials and innovation in medicine. He is the Principal Investigator of ongoing clinical trials involving precision medicine guiding therapy in heart failure, cardio-oncology and structural heart interventions.

Prof Soliman is the author/co-author of 300+ publications in peer-reviewed journals including several book chapters and books such as the interventional manual of tricuspid valve disease. He is a regular speaker at major Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgical Conferences.
