My Work

My research group is focused on the optimization of radiation therapy outcomes, including health related quality of life. Projects traverse different cancer sites and focus on improving prediction of treatment outcomes (https://ar.iiarjournals.org/content/43/1/351.long), managing toxicity (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1002/hed.27927), and patient empowerment (https://febs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/1878-0261.12675, https://www.degruyterbrill.com/document/doi/10.1515/ijamh-2025-0131/html).

I am currently supervising/co-supervising 5 PhD projects- one on digital twinning in lung cancer, one on radiomics as a predictive tool in pancreatic cancer, one on developing a knowledge resource for adolescents and young adults post treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma, one on gamifying a patient reported outcome measure for children receiving radiation therapy and one on the feasibility of upright RT in head and neck cancer.

Potential Projects

My work traverses technical and quality of life aspects of radiation therapy practice. I can supervise projects in any of these areas.
