The Health Research Board (HRB), the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland, and the Irish Clinical Academic Training programme (ICAT) have come together to boost research careers amongst Ireland’s future academic clinicians in anaesthesiology, intensive care and pain medicine.

Trainees in anaesthesiology, intensive care and pain medicine within the the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland and who meet the eligibility criteria for appointment will be in a position to avail of this ICAT fellowship funding strain.

ICAT are delighted to work with the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland to promote the ICAT Programme and academic medicine amongst its trainees. The next application call for fellowships starting in July 2021 will open on August 25. Our FAQs page contains more details about our application process and eligibility.
