My Work
Since 2008 I lead the national centre for academic primary care, the HRB Centre for Primary Care Research- http://www.hrbcentreprimarycare.ie/ We have a research programme that involves research in the areas of prescribing practice, medical care variation with methodological interests in randomised controlled trials, systematic reviews and clinical prediction rules. We have hosted over 10 successfully completed PhDs/MDs through the HRB Scholars/SPHeRE programme and are always interested in supporting clinicians with an interest in academic medicine.
