Prostate cancer clinical and translational research, especially ionizing radiation - external beam and molecular

Potential Projects

We have an extensive programme of prostate cancer research. We are one of the 2 centres of excellence for prostate cancer research in the UK. Our research programme is firmly embedded in the clinic with more than 10 locally led prostate cancer clinical trials currently recruiting as well as a portfolio of National studies. The Centre for Cancer Research and Cell biology at Queen's University has a team of approximately 30 scientists working on prostate cancer. Over the past 10 years we have had 5 clinical PhD fellows in prostate cancer research. We have numerous opportunities fro clinical and translational prostate cancer research in Belfast.
