Our focus is on interaction between Microbiome and food in the context of immune therapies in IBD. A major part of the research will be on single cell characterisation of gut immune cells.
The research project will characterise gut macrophages using single cell transcriptomics and imaging mass cytometry related to immune therapies and gut Microbiome. This is part of the Science Foundation Ireland Augment Program in IBD
