Martina Hayes is a Professor and Consultant in Restorative Dentistry. Her research primarily focuses on improving oral health care for older adults and vulnerable populations. Specifically, she investigates the facilitators and barriers to oral care delivery in clinical (e.g., cystic fibrosis unit) and residential settings. This includes exploring the integration of patient perspectives into care design and understanding systemic, behavioral, and organizational factors affecting oral hygiene outcomes for individuals with chronic health conditions.
