Our HRB funded research is focused on optimising prescribing for patients attending general practice. Other research interests include the prediction of adverse health outcomes and emergency admissions. We use a range of research methodologies and collaborate across disciplines both nationally and internationally. We offer a supportive and dynamic research environment.

2. Optimising the communication of risks and benefits of higher risk medications in general practice
3. Developing an intervention to address adverse drug reactions in general practice
4. Characterising overuse and underuse of common medications and interventions in chronic disease management
